In recent seasons, there has been a large increase in the number of tourists who have a short stopover in Harpa and use the toilet facilities. From today, wednesday April 5th, charging for toilets on K1 (the upper floor of the Car Park) begins. Harpa receives over a million visitors every year and the fee is part of providing services to this large group of tourists who visit the building. Access to toilet facilities costs ISK 200. for each person but is free for children. A payment machine has been installed at the toilet facilities and it is easy to pay with coins or a credit card. As before, guests attending events will have access to the toilet facilities but will need to scan a barcode that can be found on both electronic and printed event tickets.
