Harpa

Ingibjörg Fríða leads an excursion for Harpa's youngest guests, accompanied by adults, in search of Maximus Musicus. We go through the various halls, nooks and crannies of Harpa and wonder if they are ideal places for a little mouse to live - Maximus Músíkús is certainly by far the smallest resident registered as a home in Harpa.

The tour ends in Kaldalón for a story time with Maximus at 11:30 am.

In storytime with Maxi, we get to follow the musical adventures of the beloved mouse Maximus Musicus. Steinunn Arinbjarnardóttir reads the story Maxímús Músíkús joins the choir from the popular book series by Hallfríður Ólafsdóttir and Þórarinn Már Baldursson with musical accompaniment and pictures on screen.

Note that the number of participants is limited for each excursion, an adult must accompany each child, but no more than two.

You can book a ticket for an excursion and a story lesson, or just for the story lesson.

Admission is free, but tickets must be booked here due to limited availability. Bookings are opened five days before the advertised excursion.

Accessibility
The event will take place in Icelandic.
The tour takes place in Harpa's open spaces and halls, where it is assumed that lift access is available for guests who wish to use them. There are wheelchair spaces in the history lesson (Kaldalón).
More information about visits to Harpa and accessibility issues can be found here.

We would like to inform guests that a photographer from Harpa may be present at this event. If parents or guardians do not want pictures of their children to appear in coverage of the event on Harpa's media, please let the staff or the photographer know on site or via email markadsdeild@harpa.is.
