Eldborg

Harpa´s main hall, Eldborg, is designed to provide the audience with an unforgettable experience on numerous levels. The hall was an unbeatable choice by the jury for the USITT Architecture Award 2018 rewarding Harpa and Eldborg for acoustic, living up to its role as a world-class concert hall, with state-of-the-art acoustic technology.

Silfurberg

Silfurberg is Harpa´s main conference hall,with theatre style seating for an audience of up to 840. Featuring the best available technological equipment, Silfurberg is specially designed as a conference hall and for a range of amplified events. The hall can be divided into two seperate halls with a soundproof retractable partition. Each hall accommodates around 300 seated guests.

Norðurljós

Norðurljós recital hall is the perfect setting for all kinds of events. The hall is equipped with custom designed lighting equipment that can be configured in a number of coloured themes, creating the most suitable atmosphere for the event taking place. Two soundproofed portals connect Norðurljós and Silfurberg, so that the two halls can easily be used together for larger events.

Kaldalón

Kaldalón auditorium is especially well suited for smaller concerts, conferences, meetings and lectures. The seating in Kaldalón is stationary, on a fixed gradient down to the stage area. The stage itself is moveable and the floor can also be used as a platform for muscisians or lecturers. Norðurbryggja is an open space in front of Kaldalón where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the old harbour of Reykjavík, making the space especially well suited for receptions and exhibitions.

Björtuloft

Björtuloft reception hall is located on the top floors of Harpa, at the very summit of the building, offering spectacular views of the city, the harbour and the mountains. Björtuloft makes an elegant and unusual setting for gala dinners, receptions, and private events. The hall is on two levels, with balconies and a bar on the lower level.

Háaloft

Háaloft is a unique hall on the top floor of Harpa, with an unmatched view over the bay, mountain range and Snæfellsjökull glacier. The hall can be used simultaneously with Björtuloft for larger events, since the two halls are connected through a staircase. Háaloft has been called Reykjavik´s little roof top venue.

Exhibition and reception areas

Harpa offers a range of attractive and adaptable spaces that can be used for a variety of events, receptions and exhibitions. Numerous open spaces also create the perfect setting for sit down dinners and break outs.
