In­t­raloper / AP­PARAT & Ber­grún Snæb­jörns­dót­tir

The German brass quartet APPARAT will premiere a new workby Bergrún Snæbjörnsdóttir, Intraloper –the result of a collaboration between the composer and the ensemble, written especially for the occasion of the festival.

Bergrún’s music is often intertwined with visual art, drawing inspiration from philosophy and natural phenomena. She frequently works at the exciting intersections of different art forms, where her music merges with visual expression and spatial elements. In her works, the role of the performer is open and improvisatory, as Bergrún employs unconventional notation.

The concert lasts about 40 minutes and will be performed without an intermission.
