HOYM

HOYM will perform songs from their debut EP, Lög frá Farbraut, released in summer 2025 - a captivating six-track EP written and performed in Faroese and Icelandic.

The EP is the result of a unique collaboration between Elinborg Pálsdóttir (FO), Lea Kampmann (FO), and Katrín Helga Ólafsdóttir/k.óla (IS), three voices in the Nordic music scene brought together by a shared artistic vision and deep-rooted friendship. The EP was recorded in the south of Iceland in January 2025, where the trio immersed themselves in the creative process. With a sound that blends introspective folk and acoustic vibes.

'Lög frá Farbraut' explores themes of belonging, and emotional connection bridging cultures, languages and landscapes.

The songs were recorded live in a studio with a fireplace in the background, and the trio was gathered around one microphone, each with an acoustic guitar. All the songs were captured in just a few takes, preserving the raw emotion and intimacy of the moment.

Hoym was born from the artists’ time together at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. Each member of HOYM has an established solo career, and numerous releases under their own names. Now, they unite their voices to form something new: a project grounded in femininity, presence and collaborative spirit.

Curro Rodriguez

Curro Rodríguez approaches flamenco as ritual, pushing its physical and sonic limits in a constant dialogue with landscape and silence. His solo project has found in Iceland a fertile ground for this search — a place where the ancestral and the wild resonate deeply with his way of understanding art.

In his performances, the voice stretches to the point of breaking, the body becomes a medium, and flamenco turns into exorcism. Curro doesn't perform: he invokes. Lo jondo opens like a crack, pierced by the experimental, the raw, and the vital.

From volcanic caves to contemporary stages, his practice draws an intimate path between tradition and rupture.

Skurðgoð

Skurðgoð is a black metal band from Iceland, formerly known as Vampíra that won Músíktilraunir in 2024, the first black metal band to win Músíktilraunir.
