Harpa’s Family Program, in collaboration with the Mexican Association in Iceland, invites families to celebrate Día de los Muertos – the Day of the Dead, one of Mexico’s most colorful and meaningful traditions. The holiday honors loved ones who have passed away and celebrates life through music, dance, and joyful remembrance.

From 14:00, children can get traditional sugar skull face painting and join a lively Dúlludiskó dance party in Ríma.

From 15:00–16:00, the Mexican Association in Iceland hosts a special program featuring the flower-adorned altar, a short presentation about the Day of the Dead, live music from Mexico, and a visit from Húlladúllan with her hula hoops!
