The theatre group Skellibjalla presents the play Peter Pan and the Lost Treasure, which is based on ideas and characters from the classic fairy tale by J. M. Barrie.
This imaginative production combines storytelling with dynamic music, by various composers including Bernstein, Ravel, and Chopin, reimagined through fresh Icelandic translations by Vera Hjördís Matsdóttir.
Peter Pan / director: Níels Thibaud Girerd
Wendy: Bryndís Guðjónsdóttir
Tinkerbell: Vera Hjördís Matsdóttir
Captain Hook: Oddur Arnþór Jónsson
Pianist: Einar Bjartur Egilsson
Young audiences, aged 5–9, are invited to a heartfelt theatrical experience that explores themes such as friendship, courage, humility, and the importance of standing up for oneself and others.
