Young singers from the Iceland Academy of the Arts' Music Department delight guests with sweet midday tunes in the concert series Gleym mér ei, which this time takes place in collaboration with Harpa.
There are four concerts in total and all take place on Wednesdays at 12 noon, in the unique sound of the Hörpuhorn in Harpa.
The program is woven around a variety of topics each time, love and happiness, pain and sorrow. Accompaniment is provided by Matthildur Anna Gísladóttir, pianist. At the final concert of Gleym mér ei, students from the LHÍ's vocal and instrumental departments will join forces and perform Icelandic songs from the workshop of composer Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson.
