VÓKAL VÍF sings in Hör­puhorn

The vocal ensemble VÓKAL VÍF gives a short recital in Hörpuhorn. The repertoire is diverse with choral works from Iceland, Germany, Slovenia and the United States. Most of the works were composed in the last three decades and written for women's and children's choirs.

Where: Hörpuhorn, an open space, located on the first floor, right in front of Eldborg.
When: Sunday, May 11 from 2:45pm - 3:15pm.
Entrance is free and everybody is welcome!

The vocal ensemble VÓKAL VÍF was founded in the autumn of 2023 and is composed of ten women, all of whom possess extensive experience in singing and choral performance.  A clear artistic vision, a strong sense of community, and ambition characterize the choir's activities and choice of repertoire. The conductor and founder, Ingibjörg Guðjónsdóttir, has had a successful career over the past thirty years, both as a soloist and choral conductor.

The concert is part of the Icelandic Choir Conductors' Association's spring concert series in Harpa. Admission is free and all are welcome.
