Harpa Family Programme: Peter and the Wolf

📍 Location: Kaldalón, Harpa
📅 Date: Sunday, 28 February
🕚 Time: 11:00 and 12:30
🎟 Admission: Free, but tickets must be reserved at harpa.is from 22 February

Sergei Prokofiev’s classic musical tale, Peter and the Wolf, is brought to the stage in an acclaimed puppet production by master puppeteer Bernd Ogrodnik. Since its premiere in 2006, the production has travelled far and wide, enchanting children and adults alike.

Through puppetry, music and storytelling, we follow Peter as he ventures into the forest, where he encounters a colourful cast of animals and eventually comes face to face with the wolf. Each character has its own distinctive sound in Prokofiev’s music, while the music and puppetry together create a magical world for the whole family.

The performance is in Icelandic, but its strong visual storytelling and music make it enjoyable regardless of language.
