The Iceland Symphony Orchestra is holding its eighth conducting academy this year, now with Daníel Bjarnason as the course instructor. At the academy, young and promising musicians have the opportunity to try their hand at the conductor’s podium and conduct the orchestra under Daníel’s expert guidance. Selected students will then have the opportunity to conduct the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at a public lunchtime concert at the end of the course.
Admission is free. Enter Eldborg through Entrance 2A.
