Bryn Terfel

Sir Bryn Terfel

Acclaimed as the world’s greatest bass-baritone, Sir Bryn Terfel continues to perform at top opera houses and concert halls around the world, and now comes to Harpa for one night only, where the audience will be able to enjoy his unique talent.

Renowned internationally for his vocal power and magnetic presence, Bryn is a true master of song.

This recital is a rare opportunity to hear Bryn up close, performing music that is dear to his heart. From traditional Welsh folk tunes that echo of his homeland to hits from musical theatre, to songs by Schubert, Debussy, Wagner and Schumann, his extraordinary voice will fill Eldborg Hall and shine brightly.

Bryn is joined on stage by celebrated pianist Annabel Thwaite and harpist Hannah Stone – his wife and long-time collaborator, who was personal harpist to King Charles for four years. Together, they strip things back to what matters most: beautiful music, performed with honesty and soul.

It’s rare to see an artist so at home across so many styles, and rarer still to catch it in one performance. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy a full portrait of Bryn Terfel – storyteller, showman, and one of the greatest opera performers in the world today.
