Film Music: Sound & Emotion

Film Music: Sound & Emotion is a fun and informative event for children, teens, and parents, focusing on the powerful role music plays in film.

Film composer Einar Sv. Tryggvason guides the audience through different types of film music and presents audio and video examples. What effect does music in film have on us? How does our experience of a scene change when the music changes?

This engaging presentation helps sharpen the ear and deepen our understanding of how music shapes the stories we see on screen.
