The atmosphere at these concerts is always unique and the anticipation is palpable when young musicians are given the opportunity to perform with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, on the most impressive concert stage in the country, in Eldborg.
This year the conductor is Samuel Lee, who won the prestigious Malko Conducting Competition in 2024 and conducted the Iceland Symphony Orchestra last season in a memorable concert. The audience reaction at the concert was very good, and so he has been invited here again for this rewarding, but challenging project.
