The annual Wellbeing Economy Forum will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland, April 16-17, 2026. The Forum serves as an

influential platform for dialogue and collaboration among politicians, business leaders, academics, and practitioners from around the world. Its central focus is on integrating wellbeing into a sustainable economic system that prioritises social and environmental health. The Forum brings together diverse perspectives to advance sustainable wellbeing for both people and the planet.

This year’s theme is The Power of Wellbeing. The theme highlights the growing recognition that wellbeing is not only a desired outcome of societal progress but also a powerful driver of resilience, innovation, and sustainable prosperity. It invites participants to explore how wellbeing centred approaches can strengthen communities, improve policy making, and support long term social and environmental sustainability.

The Forum will take place at Harpa, Reykjavik’s main concert and conference venue, and is organised by the Directorate of Health in Iceland with support from the European Union. The first Wellbeing Economy Forum in Iceland was held in 2023.

Further information, including recordings from previous Forums and details about speakers, is available on the Forum website.
