Vælið is the annual singing competition of Verzlunarskóli Íslands, where students take the stage in a spectacular setting and showcase their talents. There are ten performances in total, each ambitious and diverse in style. The program is also packed with surprise guest appearances, colorful entertainment acts, and high energy throughout the night. Hilarious hosts keep the audience engaged and the atmosphere lively. At the end of the evening, a well-qualified panel of judges announces the winner of Vælið, who will go on to represent the school in the National High School Singing Competition.
