DesignTalks 2026

The international design conference DesignTalks will be held on May 2026 in Harpa, Reykjavík

The overarching theme for DesignMarch 2026 is Connections. In a world characterized by both hyperconnectivity and disconnection, it is compelling to focus on the fundamental human need for connection – on the intricate threads that link everything and the inherent magic within these connections. Connections form the foundation of everything, they are society’s very lifeblood. A city is incomplete without its networks, a building comes to life through its relationships with people, and a garment holds significance through its wearer. Ultimately, nothing affects us unless we establish a connection with it.

DesignTalks, the keynote event of the DesignMarch festival has become an important forum for inspiration and conversation about design and architecture, current challenges and futures. Many speakers have joined over the years and
