Featured guest
Magnús Jóhann Ragnarsson

Despite his young age, Magnús Jóhann Ragnarsson has established himself as an exceptionally versatile musician in most areas of music; as a composer, keyboard player, and producer. He has explored a variety of musical trends and styles, from introverted jazz, classic pop songs, and resonant string music to progressive electronic music. He has released nine albums, his own music and in collaboration with singer GDRN and jazz musicians Skúli Sverrisson and Óskar Guðjónsson. Magnús Jóhann was named Music Performer of the Year in the open category at the Icelandic Music Awards 2023 and 2025. At this concert, Magnús Jóhann performs his own music in diverse orchestral arrangements. Magnús not only plays the piano and keyboard but has recently been studying to play the mystical-sounding Ondes Martenot instrument, which will also be featured at this concert.
The concert is about an hour long, without an intermission.
