Concert series for young musicians who have studied abroad.

Every year in July, The Harpa Welcome Home Series takes place, featuring concerts where young musicians returning from studies abroad can perform and introduce themselves. This concert series is a collaborative project between Harpa and the FÍT classical department of FÍH.

In recent years, the Harpa Welcome Home Series has taken place at Harpa, with the aim of providing newly graduated musicians who have studied abroad the opportunity to perform their first concerts upon returning home. The participating musicians come fromclassical and contemporary music backgrounds and have performed in venues such as Hörpuhorn and other open spaces within Harpa.

Admission to the concert is free, delighting both regular concertgoers and tourists who enjoy the surprise of attending a concert in these open spaces.
