Andrés Þór Trio – Relocate - Múlinn Jazzclub

Andrés Þór brings his trio and feature music from the trio’s latest album, Relocate. Released in mid-August 2026 by the Norwegian record label Losen Records, the album marks the latest chapter in the trio’s ongoing musical collaboration. The trio features Andrés Þór on guitar, Nico Moreux on double bass, and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen on drums. Having played together for several years, the three musicians have developed a strong and highly responsive musical chemistry, with improvisation, interaction and space at the heart of their sound. Relocate features new compositions by Andrés Þór, exploring the relationship between written music and improvisation. Drawing on a broad jazz vocabulary, the music leaves plenty of room for the musicians to respond to one another and allow each performance to develop organically in the moment. The concerts will focus on music from Relocate, alongside other material from the trio’s repertoire. Audiences can expect an energetic and spontaneous performance in which the compositions are given new life through the interaction of the three musicians.
