SAGA MUSICA by Icelandic composer and songwriter Valgeir Guðjónsson places Iceland’s ancient literary heritage in a contemporary musical setting.
The programme features songs inspired by the Icelandic Sagas and Norse mythology, exploring their characters, conflicts and timeless themes through storytelling music. Sung in English, the work offers both Icelandic and international audiences a fresh and accessible way to encounter stories that have shaped Icelandic culture for generations.
