What does the future sound like when children get to write poetry about it?

In Poems for the Future, poetry, music, and visual art come together in a diverse and creative programme that puts children’s creativity centre stage. Children’s choirs and singers perform both new and older works by Icelandic and Nordic composers, set to poems written by children.

Children also take to the stage to read their own poems, while their artwork is projected on screen during the musical performances. It is a celebration of children’s voices, ideas, and creativity – and a chance for them to interpret the future in their own way.
