In­gib­jörg Tur­chi Trio - Múlinn Jazzclub

Bassist and composer Ingibjörg Turchi will perform at the club with Tumi Árnason and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen music from Ingibjörg's albums, Meliae (2020) and Stropha (2023), along with new material that will be recorded this year, mixed with free improvisation. The trio has played together a lot in recent years and their interaction is characterized by a joy of playing and free improvisation that finds its anchor in the songs they play around.
Bass player and composer Ingibjörg Turchi has been a mainstay in the Icelandic music scene for over a decade. She has played with many of the nation's most beloved artists in all genres, both in concerts and on recordings. Ingibjörg´s collaborations include: Emiliana Torrini, Bubbi Morthens, Stuðmenn, Teitur Magnússon, Soffía Björg, Ylja, Byzantine Silhouette, Mikael Máni and many more.
