Since 2019, Harpa has submitted annual Green Accounts to the Environment Agency of Iceland. The purpose is to collect information on the procurement of various goods and services, presented mainly in measurable data. Through Green Accounting, Harpa monitors its emissions, evaluates progress, and implements measures to reduce environmental impact. Any remaining emissions are then carbon offset by Harpa.

In cooperation with Klappir Green Solutions, Harpa uses Green Accounting as a powerful environmental management tool, ensuring accurate data collection and reliable follow-up. The results are published annually in Harpa’s Sustainability Report
