A hugely successful Culture Night at Harpa
Harpa warmly thanks all guests for visiting today and extends special gratitude to the artists who made the day truly unforgettable.

Thousands filled Harpa on Reykjavík Culture Night to experience a vibrant and spectacular programme that brought together the talents of hundreds of artists.
More than thirty events filled every corner of Harpa, ranging from imaginative family workshops to concerts with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Reykjavík Big Band. The programme also featured contributions from Reykjavík City of Literature, Dark Music Days, Art Without Borders and the Chamber Music Club, among many others.
Harpa Square was alive with a true carnival spirit. The annual marching band contest drew crowds, BMX BRÓS thrilled audiences with daring stunts, and Memmm’s much-loved boat-building workshop once again delighted young visitors. Dance Company Brynja Péturs electrified the square with a dynamic hip-hop performance, while Heidi Miikki captivated audiences with a mesmerising wall dance on Harpa’s striking façade. The festivities on Harpa Square were proudly supported by Landsbankinn and Hafnartorg, alongside Harpa itself.
As the day drew to a close, Mugison and the chamber choir Huldur led a deeply moving community sing-along in Harpa’s atrium. The audience joined in wholeheartedly, their voices echoing throughout the building — a remarkable finale to an unforgettable day.
Culture Night at Harpa also signals the beginning of the cultural season ahead, with a diverse and engaging programme awaiting audiences of all ages. Full details can be explored here on our website.
