Well­being Eco­nomy Forum April 15 and 16

The Wellbeing Economy Forum in Reykjavik serves as an influential platform for dialogue and collaboration among politicians, business leaders, academics, and practitioners from around the world. Its central focus is on integrating wellbeing into a sustainable economic system that

prioritises social and environmental health. The Forum brings together diverse perspectives to advance sustainable wellbeing for both people and the planet.

The 2027 theme, “Together for Wellbeing – The Power of Connecting People, Policy and Planet,” highlights the importance of collaboration in building an economy that prioritises the wellbeing of people and the planet. Bringing together diverse perspectives across sectors, communities and generations, the fifth Wellbeing Economy Forum emphasises meaningful dialogue, shared learning and collective action, while building on previous discussions around redefining progress and placing wellbeing at the heart of decision-making.

The Forum will take place at Harpa, Reykjavik’s main concert and conference venue, and is organised by the Directorate of Health in Iceland with support from the European Union. The first Wellbeing Economy Forum in Iceland was held in 2023.
