A Magical Night with Eivør at Eldborg

On October 23, Eivør takes over Eldborg in her own unique way, bringing brand-new music with her. Expect an evening filled with power, mystery and music that leaves a lasting impression. Eivør’s European tour begins in the Faroe Islands and Iceland. This is a night you won’t want to miss.

Her new album Tungl will be released on October 16, following her 2024 album ENN.

On Tungl, Eivør ventures even deeper into a dark and dreamlike soundscape. The album explores the ever-changing cycles of life, moving between tenderness and heartache, love and loss, strength and transformation. Three tracks have already been released: Healer, Drekafljóð and Verjugarðar.

A new music video for Drekafljóð was recently released. Filmed in Iceland, the video is directed by Krassasig.

ABOUT EIVÖR
Eivør is one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from the Nordic music scene, an artist whose work bridges ancient tradition and contemporary sound. Raised in the Faroe Islands, her music is deeply shaped by the stark landscapes and communal singing culture of her homeland, where music is both ritual and everyday expression.

Blending elements of Nordic folk, cinematic composition and modern production, Eivør has built a genre-defying catalogue across 11 studio albums. Her sound moves fluidly between the primal and the refined, combining raw vocal techniques, atmospheric textures and rhythmic intensity. In 2021, she was awarded the Nordic Council Music Prize, recognising her unique artistic voice and contribution to contemporary music.
