Ás­geir Ás­geirsson Cross­ing Bor­ders Quin­tet - Múlinn Jazzclub

The quintet will play original songs from Ásgeir's newly released album, Crossing Borders. The album is 19 songs work in three parts recorded by musicians living in Iceland, Iran, India and Jordan, a modern jazz/world music fusion. The album was released at the end of November/beginning of December 2025 and is inspired by his travels through the Middle East and Southeast Europe in the last 20 years, with all the music composed by Ásgeir and arrangements in collaboration with Hamid Khansari, Tareq Jundi and Rajeeb Chakraborty. The audience will hear new and exciting versions of these songs in the quintet's arrangements.
