Equal pay certification
Harpa has received an accredited equal pay certification, but the main goal of such certification is to combat the gender pay gap and promote gender equality in the labor market.
The main objective of equal pay certification is to combat the gender pay gap and to promote gender equality in the labor market. According to the Act on Equal Status and Gender Equality, equal pay certification shall be based on the Equal Pay Standard ÍST 85: 2012.
With the implementation of the standard, companies and institutions can establish a management system that ensures that procedures and decisions in wage matters are based on objective considerations and do not involve gender-based discrimination.
