Styrktarsjóður Samtaka um tónlistarhús og Ruthar Hermanns
The fund is intended to promote the Icelandic music scene and to support musicians to perform in Harpa.
The sponsorship fund of the Association of Concert Halls and Ruth Hermanns was established for the money raised for years to build a music hall. There are several hundred current sponsors in the fund, and most of those who previously supported the Association of Concert Halls chose to continue to support the fund after it was transformed into a sponsorship fund that distributes grants annually for concerts in Harpa.
Applicants can be e.g. individuals, music groups, music festivals, bands and NGOs. Detailed allocation rules and application forms can be found on the SUT website.
