A diverse program of events in Harpa during Advent.

Advent in Harpa will be festive with numerous Christmas events on the program where everyone should find something to their liking.

The ever-popular and adventurous ballet The Nutcracker, performed by the Kyiv Grand Ballet and the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, will begin the performance on the first weekend of Advent. A total of four shows will be held between 24.-26. November and there are special family shows at 1pm and 5pm on Saturday 26 November.

Hnoss restaurant and bar

On the Christmas menu you can find all kinds of delicacies. On weekends, there is a festive brunch menu where, among other things, is offered herring, smoked salmon, poached eggs and Hollandaise, scone pie with ham, shrimp bread pie, appetizing salads, fish, turkey breast and side dishes to name just a few. There is also a festive table of pastries; pavlov, layer cake, Christmas brownie, rice a la mande, creme bruleé and chocolate fountain! Hnoss also offers Christmas cocktails such as the Gingerbread Martini, so delicious with coffee liqueur and all the warm spices we associate with gingerbread. A delicious menu of small dishes is available every day on happy hour between 14:00 and 17:00.

La Primavera

La Primavera restaurant is on the 4.th floor of Harpa. The restaurant combines food tradition from northern Italy with premium Icelandic ingredients and is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.

Christmas exhibition Listval

Listval is a gallery on the ground floor of Harpa where visitors get an insight into what Icelandic art has to offer. On December 3 at 12-17 Listval's Christmas exhibition opens. At the exhibition, works by over a hundred leading artists are on display and for sale. Along with the exhibition in Listval, a selection of works will also be available on Listval's website.

Rammagerðin Store

Rammagerðin is on the ground floor of Harpa. The store offers products made by Icelandic craftspeople and designers with emphasise on Harpa´s role as a music hall and its uniqueness as one of Reykjavík’s most striking landmarks.
