Garðakórinn is a mixed choir of senior citizens in Garðabær near Reykjavík. The choir was founded by 15 people in the year 2000, but over the years the number of members in the choir has increased and now there are nearly 50 choir members.
The choir rehearses weekly during the winter months, visits and sings in nursing homes and holds concerts. Every spring, the choir also travels within the country.
The choir's repertoire includes a wide selection of new and old choral songs, many of which have been arranged for the choir.
The conductor of the Garðakórinn is Jóhann Baldvinsson.
